Jonathan Miller

Director of Bands & Orchestra

Mr. Miller grew up in Spokane, Washington. After school he received he degree in music education from Central Washington University where he performed with the CWU Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band 1, Symphony Orchestra, and percussion ensemble. Mr. Miller has also spent time as a professional drummer traveling the world with Carnival Cruise Lines. At Kennewick High, Mr. Miller directs the marching band, two concert bands, the wind ensemble, string orchestra, jazz band, and chamber music.

Tanner Cornell

Marching Band Assistant Director, Drill Designer

Mr. Cornell is from Pasco, WA and attended CBC before receiving his music education degree from Central Washington University. Mr. Cornell marched with the Blue Knights drum corps and has been an instructor with many different drum corps including Spokane Thunder, Blue Knights, and the Crossmen. Mr. Cornell is currently the brass caption head at the Columbians here in Tri-Cities. At Kennewick HS, Mr. Cornell writes drill and serves as the assistant director for the marching band in addition to his duties of teaching band at Park MS.

Sarah Davis

Colorguard

Sarah is a color guard choreographer and instructor from Tri-cities, WA. She has been immersed in the color guard world for 16 years, with eight seasons of experience as a performer, and eight seasons as an instructor. Sarah has been involved with multiple high school marching band programs throughout the region including Chiawana High, Pasco High, and Lewis and Clark (Spokane). Currently she is preparing for her 3rd
season as Head Instructor with Kennewick High School’s Color Guard.On top of her experience with high school programs she also marched professionally in 2013 with Columbians Drum & Bugle Corps, which is
a competitive horn, percussion and color guard group based in Tri-cities. Sarah has been on staff ever since, making this her 6th year with Columbians Drum Corps.
